Sarah will be performing at The Bitter End, New York City’s oldest rock club on Wednesday, February 21st at 9:30PM. The Bitter End is located at 147 Bleecker Street (between Thompson and LaGuardia). If your in the area be sure to stop and check out Sarah’s unique blend of Rock and Country.

AmericanIdol.com has been doing pieces on previous Idol contestants, talking to them about what life was like during the show and what they’ve been up to since. Recently Sarah spent some time with them to discuss her experiences a little bit. The following is from an interview on AmericanIdol.com

Season four’s Sarah Mather has certainly made the most of her post-Idol life thus far. After spending merely one day back in her hometown of Wilmington, NC, she picked up her stuff and moved to New York City. Since then, she’s been busy singing in some local clubs, recording, and even doing some TV and modeling work. She admits that the move to NYC was a bit daunting at first, but she did not want the people of her hometown to feel sorry for her upon her return from American Idol. Thankfully, the reaction from the people of Wilmington was completely the opposite, and they were nothing but proud of Sarah. However, she doesn’t regret the move to the Big Apple. She wanted to keep things moving forward instead of looking back and dwelling on what she might have done wrong, and that’s exactly what she’s done.
